THE ORGANIZATION:

Interact Worldwide, is a UK-based INGO working to reduce poverty through advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights and addressing HIV and AIDS for marginalised and vulnerable populations.

We are looking for a qualified financial consultant to coordinate financial activities between our partners in Uganda and our London Office.

POST TITLE:   Finance Technical Advisor, Uganda

Approximately 2 days per quarter (may vary depending on partner requirements), based in Kampala

REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• We are seeking a person to provide financial consultancy, coordinate financial management and provide capacity building for our 3 partnership organisations based in Kampala,
• This post requires a professional accountancy qualification, with excellent accounting skills, IT and communications skills and the ability to write financial reports and monitor financial management,
• The role will include reporting to donors such as the BIG Lottery, DFID and France Expertise Internationale and supporting our partners with budgeting, financial management and auditing. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

•  The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience of mid-senior level management in a finance or accounts position, and experience in providing financial consultancy, project management , reporting and financial audits,
• A Ugandan national with good written and spoken English is essential.

This will be a one year contract position in the first instance. We cannot cover relocation expenses.
