THE CLIENT:

Our client, was founded in 1997, and is one of the market leaders within fast moving consumer goods. They offer high quality products within cosmetics. Besides Uganda they also have retail shops throughout East and Central Africa mainly in capital cities and border towns in Nairobi (Kenya), Mwanza, Bukoba and Arusha (Tanzania), Kigali (Rwanda), Bujumbura (Burundi), Gulumbi, Koja Kaji and Lopodi (Sudan). POST TITLE:   MARKETING MANAGER

THE ROLE:
  • With his/her duty station in Kampala and reporting to the Operations and Administration Director, 
  • The Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating a market environment that will eventually result into moving sales volumes of the whole product portfolio.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct market research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities for existing and future/potential products,
  • Analyse current market trends and competitor information and identify/develop proactive and reactive tactics to assist the company move forward,
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products,
  • Plan and develop marketing communications strategies and materials in consultation with approved advertising agencies,
  • Develop new clients/accounts and coordinate the management of all existing clients,
  • Determine and manage the marketing budget based on key priorities,
  • Develop pricing strategies, balancing the company objectives and customer satisfaction,
  • Monitor the trends that indicate the need for new products and services,
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activities and results,
  • Formulate systems, processes and reports in consultation with other stakeholders to monitor and drive marketing efforts across the business.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Degree in Marketing, BBA and other related disciplines from a recognized University/Institution,
  • A Masters Degree in Marketing or C.I.M is a added advantage,
  • Experience of not less than five (5) years in fast moving consumer is added advantage,
  • Computer literacy is a must and knowledge of Ebizframe ERP will be an added advantage.

POST TITLE:   Internal Auditor

THE ROLE:
  • With his/her duty station in Kampala and reporting to the Audit Manager, 
  • The Internal Auditor will be expected to implement audit plans, systems and policies of the Auditing department.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Under the supervision of the Internal Audit Manager, conduct periodic reviews of all functional and operational audits stipulated in the annual audit plan and report findings and recommendations,
  • Ensure that the authenticity of entries in the GL accounts is checked while carrying out financial audits to be able to give comfort on the accuracy of the financial reports,
  • Follow up on the internal audit recommendations and ensure appropriate actions have been taken,
  • Review internal controls, operations, risk management and governance processes and report the matters to the Internal Audit Manager for further action,
  • Participate in the coordination of external audits and any other due diligence teams and follow up on their recommendations to ensure implementation,
  • Review exceptional reports in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) regularly and liaise with various departments on issues that may need rectification,
  • Conduct investigations into frauds and forgeries and any malfeasance that they come to your notice and report to the Internal Audit Manager,
  • Participate in the preparation of Board Audit Committee papers on a quarterly basis.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Economics, Statistics or a related field,
  • At least 2years’ experience in Internal Audit practice,
  • Be a Certified Auditor,
  • Part qualification in professional accounting will be added advantage,
  • Membership to the Institute of Internal Auditors will be added advantage.
SALARY/REMUNERATION:  USD/month.
